Dear Florida Power Club Members: Enclosed is your new copy of the Florida Power Club Reporter for July/August 2009 We have just a few events over the next two months. When an event is offered during hurricane season we are always taking a chance. We certainly hope all goes well. The Rays Baseball game went over very, very well. We had over 70 tickets sold to this event and the feedback was that everyone had a great time! The Bahamas cruise was also very enjoyable. Members that took advantage of this great offer had great weather and good company. The events offered in this Reporter are another member social event on Friday, July 31 at Midtown Sundries and the Beach Bash on Saturday, August 15th. Don’t forget to reserve your room for this event and the details are on the event Reporter sign up page. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough interest in the Busch Gardens picnic offer so we will not be holding this event. Upcoming events: October 9th FRIDAY - Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens & Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando December 5th SATURDAY Adult Holiday Party & Kids Holiday Party (date TBD) Don’t forget to visit the Club website for any additional information http://floridapowerclub.homestead.com. Please feel free to call or email us with your ideas for future events. A special thanks to our Event Coordinators for handling these all important events. We are always looking for event coordinators to run upcoming events and remember that as an event coordinator you receive $25.00 off a future event. Sincerely,, Debbie DuVall, President July/August 2009 – EVENTS
