September - October 2009 Dear Florida Power Club Members: Enclosed is your new copy of the Florida Power Club Reporter for September/October 2009. We have a few exciting events over the next few months! The beach bash was a lot of fun, great weather and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The Midtown Happy Hour was also well attended with plenty of food & fun. There was a lot of interest raised at the Midtown event for another Group Cruise. The next group cruise will be on the Carnival Inspiration departing February 4th from the Port of Tampa. It is a very reasonably priced cruise. The amenities offered are $50 on board credit and a cocktail party on board, along with a $25 member credit from the Florida Power Club. This cruise would make a great Holiday Gift for anyone. In addition, this Reporter offers the Halloween Horror Nights ticket discount and Express Pass option on Friday, October 9th. Of course, the return of the Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens is offered along with Fright Feast dinner show this year. UNIVERSAL/ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE Tickets TICKET POLICY A Club member may purchase one ticket for him/herself, one guest and tickets for the member's dependent children under the age of 18, or two non-dependent children under the age of 18, at Club member's price. In the event the member cannot attend due to work or illness, the spouse may attend without the member. It is the Club's policy to hold all requests for tickets for two weeks before filling to allow for mail delivery. If the requests for tickets received during the first two weeks are more than we have available, it is our policy to hold a lottery of the ticket requests received during the first two weeks.
